Book Fair was buzzing this morning with shoppers. Parents can set up an e-wallet for their students rather than send cash to school by going to https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/drydenelementaryschool1. We also have a special Family Night on October 5 from 4pm-6pm.

The Book Fair is ready for next week’s shoppers thanks to the Student Library Board. Classes will shop on their Library Special day. Family Night will also be held on Wednesday, October 5th from 4 PM - 6 PM.
It was a close race, but Mrs. Bonesteel's class really stepped it up on the last day...16,950 points! Wow! Honorable mention also goes to Calvert and Medley's classrooms.
The Birthday Book Club has grown by two. Thank you for honoring your students with new books for our library collection.

First grade is learning all about animal traits in Science and today we made our own owls, giving them some unique traits!
We have new classroom's holding the #2 and #3 spots! Can they surpass Mrs. Calvert's 5th grade? There's just one more day to bring in "pennies and paper" for classroom jugs. We'll find out our week 1 winner tomorrow!
