🏐❤️🖤 Dryden Varsity Volleyball Update
The Dryden Cardinals varsity volleyball team faced Memphis, falling in three sets with scores of 14-25, 7-25, and 13-25.
In the opening set, Elaina Yatros, Stori Zink, and Kayla Lapka each contributed an ace for the Cardinals. During the second set, Abby Tonkoshkur made her presence known at the net with a block.
Dryden continued to compete in the third set, with Kayla Lapka recording two aces, Karley Phillips adding an ace, and Celine Nguyen contributing a kill.
Although the Cardinals came up short, the team will continue working to strengthen its performance and build momentum as the season progresses.

🧬 Hands-On Learning in Ms. Henderson’s Biology Class! 🔬
Students in Ms. Henderson’s Biology class recently completed an investigation focused on cell surface area-to-volume ratio. Through this hands-on activity, students explored how the size of a cell can affect its ability to efficiently move materials in and out.
Using models, measurements, observations, and data collection, students were able to see an important biological concept come to life beyond the textbook.
We love seeing our Cardinals learning through investigation, collaboration, and discovery! ❤️🖤
