Congratulations to the Dryden Cardinals Varsity Baseball Team on capturing the MHSAA District 124 Championship with a dominant 12–1 victory over Byron! The Cardinals put together a complete team effort, combining outstanding pitching, timely hitting, aggressive baserunning, and solid defense to bring home the district title. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to one another have paid off in championship fashion.
This accomplishment is a testament to the players, coaches, families, and supporters who have poured their time and energy into this program all season long. Enjoy the moment, Cardinals—you've earned it!

Students in Mrs. DelCampo's Begindergarten class picked some summer reading books to enjoy and to help reduce the summer slide. Do you know that students can lose 2-3 months of learning over the summer from lack of practicing their skills? Daily reading and skill practice will reduce and/or eliminate that learning loss. For Mrs. Brosseau's final History 8 project, #proudcardinal students are presenting TED Talks titled "A Living History of the Civil War," in which they take on the role of a person who lived through the Civil War and present 5 minutes of historical facts as they would have experienced them.

There will be an informational meeting for next year's trip to New York City on Monday, June 1, at 5:30 p.m. in the high school library. Students entering grades 7 through 12 are welcome to travel. All students who attend with an adult will be entered in a drawing for $125 off the cost of the trip.
