This week 6th graders hosted the 2nd Annual Argument Fair. Students presented argument projects, based on a disaster in history, where they had to convince their audience that their disaster was the most difficult to survive! Our winner for Best Argument was Zane with Pompeii and Maddy with Titanic! #proudcardinal
#proudcardinal Science 7 kids celebrated the end of their unit on thermal energy transfer by making ice cream in a bag.

Here are new Birthday Book Club members for 2026, celebrating their summer birthdays. Thank you for supporting our library! #growingreaders #proudcardinal
Mrs. Lowe's first graders picked books to read at home over the summer. Why? Reading is fun AND if students don't practice their reading skills over the summer they may lose up to 3 months of learning. That's the equivalent of forgetting everything they've learned since the beginning of March. Reading or being read to for 20 minutes a day will make a huge difference in the skills students return to school with in the fall. #proudcardinal

Mrs. Hearold's Kindergarten students picked out books to read at home over the summer. Their reading skills are sky high now and we don't want them to lose those skills over the summer. #proudcardinal
Good news and bad news....Mr. Capelli's class is the second class to return all of their library books! :) However, we are still waiting for 27 more library books to be returned. 4 days left.
