Thank you Lapeer County Community Foundation YAC for helping Dryden Elementary be able to purchase sets of decodable books! These books have been added to our literacy resource library for teachers to use with students in small groups to help foster decoding and phonics skills. The Lapeer County Community Foundation manages 76 funds to provide grants for a wide range of charitable purposes. The Dryden Band, joined by the New Lothrop High School Band, attended the Huron Valley Marching Band competition, where many of our students got to experience marching band for the first time! They braved the chilly weather in the bleachers and watched over 15 bands compete for awards. Great job, Dryden Band! Special shoutout to Mrs. Maday for helping to chaperone and take photos!
