First grade went on a field trip today to the Longway Planetarium. They explored space and made sustainable ecosystems that last for a year! We had a great time!!! #proudcardinal

Today Ms. Erika and Zero from Critter Crossing Rehabilitation came to visit Mrs. Rhodes and Mrs. Koroleski's class.
Zero was born without eyes and can’t return to the wild. He helps Erika educate people on her nonprofit organization.
Critter Crossing Rehabilitation focuses on aiding injured and orphaned wildlife so that they can be released back into nature. Critter Crossing also enjoys educating the public on our native wildlife to both develop a sense of appreciation for our environment and to prevent human-animal conflicts.

A HUGE thank you to Almont Hideaway Lanes for donating your facilities, time and resources to Ms. Gorski and Mrs. Campbell's trip to the bowling alley! These classes won the field trip as part of an incentive to raise and sell the most pizza kits to raise money for our school! These two classes sold over $3,900 in pizza kits! I am incredibly excited and honored to share that your very own Dryden Bands are performing the national anthem for the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park on Saturday, April 8 for Opening Weekend! The junior high and high school bands will be combined to play on the field before the start of the game vs. the Boston Red Sox. We have plenty of tickets at the generous price of only $26 and we would be so happy to see as many of our Cardinal Community as possible supporting our students! We must sell at least 100 tickets to make this happen, so feel free to share this link to your friends and family.
