First graders are becoming addition experts! One of our favorite tools to reinforce addition skills is a pair of dice! In the game "Color 'Em" students roll two dice, add the two rolled numbers, then color in the sum. This is a favorite game of ours!

On Friday, Mrs. Bonesteel’s 2nd graders celebrated winning week 1 of Penny Wars. The enjoyed ice cream Sundaes and Ivy and Bean The Ghost that had to Go. It was an awesome day for all of us!
Mrs. Calvert’s 5th graders had great time with a dice tournament, practicing multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction.
