We had our March is Reading Month kick off this afternoon! All students in BK-6th grade were given a book along with a packet of information. The packet has activity calendars, explanations of a variety of optional projects, and information about our Family Literacy Night (March 20.) Our March is Reading Month books have been announced! Books, you say? Yes, in a surprise twist we are doing One School One Author this year. Both books have the same author, Dusti Bowling, and have the same main character, Aven Green.
